Sedani fritti all’Italiana (Celery) Recipe
Ingredients:
Cauliflower; blanched
Onion; cut up
Parsley; chopped to equal pieces
Espagnole sauce
Lemon juice
Eggs (beaten)
Breadcrumbs
Butter
Tomatoes
Instructions:
Fry the onions slightly on butter with parsley till it changes color. Add cauliflower then cook till done. Let it cold and dip on beaten egg then roll on crumbs; saute on butter.
Transfer on a plate and pour over the Espagnole. Squeeze a lemon onto the sauce and place (tomato) sauce on the side.
