Roman Sauce (Salsa Agro-dolce) Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Tbsps of burnt sugar
1 Tbsp of vinegar
Stock
2 c of sauce (Espagnole)
Stoned raisins
Pinocchi (pine nuts)
or
Shredded almonds
Instructions:
Combine sugar and vinegar then dilute them with small amount of stock. Add (Espagnole) sauce, pinocchi, and raisins. Keep mixture hot inside a double boiler. Serve this with meat cutlets.
