Polpettine Distese (Veal Olives) Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pc of veal steak
1 stick of butter
2-3 pcs of bread
1 pc of egg
some pistachio nuts
some spices
a pinch of parsley
Instructions:
Cut steak into extremely thin slices then spread onto well-buttered pan. Mix these up: bread crumbs, egg, nuts, salt, herbs, chopped parsley and some butter.
Add 1/2 spoon of mixture onto each veal slice. Roll them up, cover using buttered paper, cover pan then cook this for 45 minutes in butter (2 ozs) over minimal heat.
Thicken sauce using butter plus flour (1 tablespoon) fried at once.
