Gnocchi alla Romana Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of milk
2 oz of butter
4 oz of semolina
2 Tbsps of grated cheese (Parmesan)
3 pcs of egg yolks
1/8 tsp of nutmeg
2 Tbsps of cream
Instructions:
Boil milk inside the saucepan. Add butter, semolina, grated cheese, egg yolks, and nutmeg then mix thoroughly.
Let mixture cool then spread paste out till thick as the finger. Place cream, some Parmesan cheese, and small amount of fresh butter on a baking dish.
Form or cut paste using a (dariole) mould then place onto the baking dish. Sprinkle over some Parmesan. Bake for 5 mins. Serve at once.
