Crema tartara alla Caramella (Caramel Cream) Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of cream
Flavoring
8 pcs of egg yolks
2 Tbsps of castor sugar
Sugar
Instructions:
Boil cream then add any desired flavor. Let it cool then add egg yolks and (castor) sugar; stir thoroughly then pass through the sieve. Burn sugar, making the caramel.
Pour onto a mould and line it smoothly. Pour over cream. Boil inside a double boiler for one hour. Serve immediately or let it cool before serving.
