Coscia di Manzo al Forno (Rump Steak) Recipe
Ingredients:
rump steak
1 oz of ham; cut in bits
a pinch of salt
a pinch of pepper
a little spice
3-4 slices of fat bacon
1 pc of onion
1 c of stock
1/2 glass of white wine
Instructions:
Lard rump and ham (cut in bits), seasoning with some salt, spice and pepper. Brown this slightly for some minutes with butter. Cover with bacon then put into stewpan along with onion, stock plus wine (white).
Cover then cook for around one hour. Garlic can be added for 10 minutes.
