Clear Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
3 lbs of stock meat; cut up
8 c of cold water
3 pcs of carrots; cut up
3 pcs of turnips; cut up
3 pcs of onions (stuck with clove)
Herbs (bunch)
Mace (blade)
Instructions:
Place meat onto (stock) pot. Add water, carrots, turnips, onions, mace, and herbs. Boil mixture, draw off, skim once, and simmer gently. Continue simmering for a day, adding water occasionally. Strain through the cheesecloth.
