Battuffoli Recipe
Ingredients:
Polenta:
1/2 lb of ground maize
3 c of salted water
1 pc of small onion; cut up
Butter
Gravy (or stock)
Grated cheese (Parmesan)
Instructions:
Make polenta from water with salt and maize. Add onion fried on butter; stir thoroughly till cooked through. Take out from the heat then arrange by spoonfuls on large baking dish, layered.
Pour gravy in between layers and sprinkle lots of Parmesan. Bake for 20 mins. Serve at once.
